Benefits of Aeration & Seeding
Our Proven Approach to Aeration & Seeding

Thorough Aeration
We use multiple passes of core aeration to reduce soil compaction and thatch buildup. This creates better air circulation, deeper water penetration, and improved nutrient absorption in your lawn.
Premium Seed Selection
We apply premium quality seed that is blue tag certified and guaranteed to be free from weeds. These seeds include new generation breeds that are more resilient to diseases and pests, ensuring a healthier and more vibrant lawn.
Back Dragging
After aeration, we carefully back drag the lawn to break up soil cores and ensure optimal seed-to-soil contact. This technique promotes better seed germination and growth, leading to a denser and more uniform lawn.
Complimentary Fertilization
To further nurture your lawn, we apply a proprietary fertilizer blend. This provides essential nutrients and beneficial microbes to promote root development and prepare your lawn for the seasons ahead, ensuring a greener and more robust appearance.
How does Aeration & Overseeding Help Your Lawn?
Benefits of Aeration & Seeding
- Reduces thatch and compacted soil
- Improves air exchange between the soil and atmosphere
- Increases heat and drought stress tolerance
- Allows more water to reach deeper into the soil
- Stimulates root growth and microbial activity

Why Aerate & Seed?
Although one of the primary benefits of aeration is reduced soil compaction, it also helps prepare a perfect place for new seed to germinate.
The little holes in the soil hold water for the new seed and help to improve soil quality through the release of nutrients from beneficial microorganisms.

When Should You Aerate & Seed Your Lawn?
The most effective time of year for cool season grasses, such as Tall Fescue or Kentucky Bluegrass, is August through October. Warm season grasses, such as Bermudagrass and Zoysiagrass, are best aerated from late spring through summer.

How Often Should Lawns be Aerated?
All lawns can benefit from annual aeration. Please contact your local NaturaLawn® of America office to determine the best time for scheduling your lawn's aeration and seeding.

What Our Customers Say
I have referred several people to your company in the past and part of the reason is that your workers are always super friendly and polite, including the guy who showed up today to begin our spring treatment. I appreciate this!
My entire lawn has never looked better in the 18 years that I have lived in Delaware. It is picturesque and is absolutely beautiful and, actually is looking like its golf course ready!
